Condor's take on the classic Russian entrenching tool, the Wilderness Survival Shovel boasts a number of differences from Cold Steel's popular version. The overall dimensions are slightly smaller, for more convenient carry, the backside is fully closed and welded for incredible durability and to prevent dirt from building up in the hollow found on open-backed shovels. The handle features a steel butt cap to protect the end when used for hammering and tamping work. The sturdy reinforced nylon canvas sheath has snap-strap loops for easy attachment to and removal from belts or packs.
